  Q.Do I really need therapy?A: There are many reasons why people seek therapy. Sometimes it is to deal with long-standing problems such as anxiety or depression, other times it is in response to unexpected changes, such as relocating or divorce. Working with a therapist can you help provide insight and new coping strategies. Therapy is right for anyone who is interested in getting the most out of their life by creating greater self awareness and working towards change in their lives.
Q.Do I need medication?A: In some cases the combination of medication and therapy is the right course of action. Your GP or psychiatrist will be able to determine what is best for you. It is well established that the long term solution to mental and emotional problems cannot be solved just by medication. The medication will treat the symptoms and the therapy will address the cause of your distress.
Q.How much does a session cost ?A: Our fees depend on a number of factors (e.g. whether your are self funding or have a private health insurance ). Please contact us for more information. We offer a limited number of reduced fee sessions. Your sessions will be 50 mins long.
Q.I’d be interested in supervision. How much does a supervision session cost?A: We offer Schema therapy supervision for trainees working towards accreditation in Schema Therapy and for clinicians who use the schema model in their therapy work. We offer face to face, skype and phone supervision sessions. A supervision sessions costs £ 90 and lasts 50 mins.
Q. Do you accept private health insurance?A: Yes. We are providers for the following private health insurance companies: AXA, Cigna, HTH, WPA, Pruhealth and Aviva. Check your coverage carefully and find out what your mental health benefits are and if a referral letter is required from your GP or psychiatrist.
Q. How can I pay for the sessions? A: You can pay in cash, by cheque or online by visiting our MAKE A PAYMENT page.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?  A: You can cancel your appointment by giving us 24 hours notice. If you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
