About Us
Tünde is the founder of Mayfair Therapy. She is a psychologist practising mainly within an integrative framework using Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Tünde’s special interests are recurring life patterns, like a history of unsatisfactory relationships. Her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, borderline and narcissistic personality disorders.
Tünde has worked in the field of psychology since 2002 in Hungary, the USA and London as a psychotherapist, a supervisor and as a trainer.
In 2007 she was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, where she successfully completed further training in CBT and participated in a depression research. During her Fulbright year, she also started the schema therapist training at the Schema Therapy Institute of New York which she successfully completed. Her Ph.D dissertation examined schemas and attachment in various patient groups.
Tünde worked at the Priory Hospital in London for several years and currently she sees clients in private practice.
Tünde is accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).
